Our objectives are rooted in the belief that every child carries a powerful voice and the ability to shape their world. We nurture this through public speaking and storytelling, where children grow in confidence as they learn to express ideas with clarity, courage, and creativity. These experiences help them discover the strength of their own perspective while learning to listen and connect meaningfully with others.
We also open doors to global citizenship, drawing on frameworks such as the Sustainable Development Goals, Human Rights, and the Montessori Model UN. Through negotiation, debate, and collaboration, children practice the skills of diplomacy while deepening their understanding of global challenges. Writing becomes a tool for influence as they craft essays, advocacy pieces, and policy reflections that carry their voices beyond the classroom.
At the heart of it all, students embody Montessori values of peace, service, and global responsibility.
Our program nurtures confident voices and the art of meaningful expression. Through Public Speaking and Storytelling, children learn to share their ideas with clarity and presence, whether through TED style talks, spirited debates, or Africa’s timeless oral traditions. These experiences invite them to listen deeply, speak authentically, and discover the joy of connecting with others through words.
We also guide children to see themselves as part of a larger world. The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) provide a framework to link global priorities with local realities, inspiring learners to recognize their role in creating change. This vision comes alive in the Montessori Model UN (MMUN), where students step into the world of diplomacy, write resolutions, and practice cooperation. In doing so, they build both confidence and empathy while engaging in meaningful global dialogue.
Rooted in values of dignity and service, Human Rights and Peace Education introduces the UNCRC, Ubuntu philosophy, and conflict resolution. Youth Development and Leadership helps children grow in identity, empathy, and activism, while Writing and Advocacy offers space to share their perspectives through essays, opinion pieces, and newsletters. In every step, they are celebrated as thoughtful voices shaping the future.
The program is led by a multidisciplinary team of educators, lawyers, cultural intellectuals, and SDG champions across Zimbabwe, with strong collaborations with African Montessori Hub fellows and international partners.
